While I was working as the Digital Media Manager for Luckyleo Dancewear one of my responsibilities was sending out weekly email sends. Luckyleo Dancewear created made-to-order bespoke leotards featuring prints that were hand painted and printed in-house, allowing for fresh designs to be available in small batches weekly. The email platform was highly templatized and I didn’t have much control over design, I was tasked with simply inputting image and body copy in the same format week after week. I knew that innovative and compelling design would help elevate the new styles and encourage sales, so I got creative with adding flair wherever I was able to squeeze it in. I found unique ways to animate design features on the leotards, which helped highlight the hand painted designs while also adding a bit of movement to the photos to help capture the attention of readers to take a closer look.
