As a stylist, I operate under the philosophy that great products deserve great presentation. I have a stylist kit that could rival Mary Poppin’s magic bag and a playbook of expert techniques utilized to make any shoot extra striking.

This tabletop lifestyle product shoot spanned 10 weeks and included over 6,000 SKUs. Working on this massive production was one of the most interesting and formative experiences of my career. I did product styling on set for 12 hours, then spent the evening hours crafting with the art products to create props to use on set for the next day.
If you have an extra 5 minutes, watch the video below for a documentary recap of this unique production. Keep an eye out for a few cameos from a familiar face—the blonde gal in a pink sweatshirt, stitching and styling away.

Styling food is always a unique experience, and this shoot for Royal Crest Dairy was particularly interesting because I was styling completely frozen food, cooked holiday hams, and a variety of desserts. I really put my food styling techniques to the test- using tweezers to perfectly place each toffee crumb, painting frozen meatballs with browning sauce to make them look juicy, and expertly placed T-pins to hold up slices of ham at the best angle. All I can say is at the end of the day I WAS HUNGRY.

Was working as a product stylist on this Fruit of the Loom shoot the most thrilling experience of my life? No. Was it bizarre to get paid to roll, steam, and pin underwear all day? Kinda. Would I do it again? Yup!
